In a TikTok, @arian_samouie argues that you are never *too needy*.
He gives the analogy: Imagine we're eating pasta. I might go to the kitchen, get the pasta, chat with you, sip a drink, and enjoy the time. However, if I'd survived the desert for six days on nothing but my own urine, and I suddenly found a house, and they gave me a plate of pasta and a glass of water, the way I'd eat and drink would be vastly different than our dinner together. My behavior would be completely different because my *need* would be so much higher.
People labeled "needy" are just people who haven't had what they need for survival (love, acceptance, safety); they've been walking the emotional desert. When people have what they need, their behavior is completely different.
