1. “Triangulate objective reality” by staying grounded in context, culture, and “the _je ne sais quoi_ of being alive”. Talk about weird stuff and what is *currently happening* in the world. AI is a prediction system (so far) and doesn’t have access to our shared reality. 2. Think critically and creatively. I like the way Maggie Appleton describes it – we have a fuller *range* of inputs that AI and bots. We might not have the *quantity* of data they have, but we do have a much more complete and sophisticated spectrum of understanding. 3. Develop your own voice. Use “weird internet lingo and memes”, inside jokes, “euphemistic emoji”… I also see this having actual quirks in your writing. I jokingly say “unfortch” a lot IRL (unfortch), and it has made its way into my social media vocab. 4. “Consider institutional verification.” See [[{6.1a1} is Online about to get way less cool]]. I feel more “meh” about this now. 5. “Show up in meatspace.” See Markets for Lemons. - [ ] Link once this note is added.
